    I was tired and so was Brent! He fell asleep first so I decided it was a good time for ME to catch a nap... :D

    Shawna rented the DVD and watched it with us. We watched the whole movie before falling alseep. It was a cute movie, but I doubt I'd purchase it. It was along the lines of "Finding Nemo".

    My oldest daughter, Laura, from Indiana, is spending the night here with her two boys and will be taking them back to Indiana until Monday. Brent will be going with them so he can play with his cousins. He will attend church in Indiana with the rest of the family.

    I will feel LOST without him here! He will be leaving right after his basketball game Saturday morning.

    Good morning all:

    It's a cold 20 here and a little windy. Viv came home a bit after noon yesterday, and we drank a big pot of hot coffee and made out our list of things to do today.

    I'm still trying to get the office set up and more boxes and the rest of the furniture in from the garage. We're hoping to get some of that stuff done today or tomorrow. Tomorrow night is a small get together at the church we visited Sunday. We're probably going to go, and we'll probably join this church. We found that many of our friends have already left Northside, some going to other churches and some so in shock that they aren't going anywhere. I know the confusion and upset they feel over many of the changes at the church over the past 12-18 months. I'm glad most are still in church and active serving the Lord.

    Menagerie, that's great about your son's visit to the doctor. I'll keep ya'll in our prayers.

    Gib, you crack me up!

    Sue, be careful out there on the corner. I've seen the damage a fast moving Chevy in a school zone can do!

    My goodness! I went to bed EARLY and missed so much chatting.

    Tater, the tiny staple is okay in the microwave BUT I heat up my water and add the bag afterwards. Some new 'meals' have small amounts of foil on the packages and that would scare me! I have to have my TEA! Regular Lipton please.

    Cyndi, if the lens fell out because the glasses were defective, maybe Wal-Mart will replace it for free. Hope so but am glad about son's visit. My Nick is thin but not TOO thin but you'll never find a whiter child! Even in the summer when he's got a tan people think he never goes outside. White as a ghost! So is our daughter tho but her red hair and green eyes and LOTS Of freckles make up for it.

    Sue, is it me or does Laura look like you? She's beautiful! I love her hair color. Is it a red or strawberry blonde?

    Tony, sounds like you and Viv have so much work to do. I don't envy you that but it's nice to put things right where you want them. [​IMG]

    Gib, you know we could have hid in Dr. Bob's suitcases and gone on that cruise with he and the Mrs. Of course, I don't DO water!!!! :eek:

    No kids today so just Nick's school and catching up on housework.

    Everyone has always said that Laura looked like me, but I think she is much prettier!!! She is a strawberry blonde (and sometimes you can tell it by her actions). [​IMG] [​IMG] :rolleyes:

    She is 17 years younger than me...

    Brent is taking 3 Self Tests and 3 Pace tests today, so I get to sit at the computer for awhile.

    He will have the day off Monday as he will not be getting back from Indiana until that afternoon.
