Now Gib, that's sort of the pot calling the kettle black. LOLOL

The boys (Nick, Ty age 3 and Jack age 2) are watching the new Veggie Tale movie. I'm their local 'Ambassador' so I get a BIG box of posters, coupons, stickers, booklets with coloring pages and a free video everytime something new is released. This one is 'Just Do It' a lesson in Loving your Family.

My DH never had any problem falling asleep with the wires on his head. He never has any problem falling asleep anywhere at any time (another symptom of apnea)! He always falls asleep in church, no matter what is going on. He has fallen asleep during deacons' meeting. In fact, if you ask him to listen to someone else speak for more than 15 minutes, he WILL fall asleep. Which would be almost OK, but if he sleeps, he snores - the kind where you gasp for air. At home, he is supposed to use the CPAP, but he doesn't like it. He thinks it is just for me because I am bothered by the snoring. I have a hard time getting him to understand it is for him. He sleeps so peacefully when he is using it. Without it he snores and tosses and turns because he partially wakes up to get air. Of course, he's been doing this his whole life, it's only recently that doctors have taken it seriously.

When he was working, he was also able to actually sleep on breaks and at lunch. After 15 minutes of lying down, my brain is still working, let alone be ready to sleep! Maybe women have too much on their minds, and men have not much going on up there!

Diane - I'm an "ambassador" too. I don't have that one. I'm supposed to be getting the "Pie Wars" one, but I've not heard of "Just Do It." Is it a Larry-boy cartoon, or a 1-2-3 Penguins?

Debby, Jim's been on the 'list' for a sleep study for a while but the VA hasn't any openings. He says he won't sleep there with wires on himself but he sure needs to! He chokes and gasps for air, thrashes, snores so loud he'll sometimes wake Nick who is way down the hall....

Diane, how did you get to be a Veggie Ambassador? Don't believe I've heard of that before.

Our Missions Revival starts tomorrow night and runs through Sunday night. I've been very busy putting together a booklet with the addresses of all the Missionaries we support, some Mission 'lessons' and International recipes.

Last night I got a wild hair to try and find the Anthems of the three countries represented by Missionaries who will be at the conference. I found them pretty easily. I have something called Noteworthy player that will show the sheet music,, so with the help of that and PrintMusic! Notation software, our orchestra will be able to play at least part of their anthems. Ain't technology cool?!?

I thought he said it was to Cuba. He was going for some "Havana's" and wanted to try and convert Fidel Castro! ;) Not really sure where it was, but I hope he and his bride have a great time! They deserve it!

I'm supposed to have a sleep study done sometime before June. They said I probably need a CPAP, but the insurance won't even help cover the cost of one. They don't want to cover the sleep study either. That's one reason I've not gone yet. But, I'm going to have to soon, I believe.

I bet he's laying in the sun. I wonder if he'll get a tan line around the bowtie?

My best friend had a sleep study done and it was a nightmare. I was supposed to go but chickened out. I don't know why it scares me but it does.

I know anything that requires someone to watch or tape me sleeping all night, especially with wires attached all over me, doesn't sound too inviting.

Diane, it was the VA who gave my husband the machine. He was part of a sleep "study" the VA sent him to at the U of PA hospital. And the university PAID HIM to go for the sleep study. Maybe there are teaching hospitals in your area who are involved in the research.

    Hey ya'll!

I've been running around this morning instead of working! Got back and voila! it's lunchtime. I have a feeling I'm not going to get too much done today. :D

It's so pretty today I'm going to take the kids and their friends to the park for a while this PM. I've been told not to forget the roller blades. Personally, I'm going to take a book to read.
