MSN IM has an "appear offline" option. Its basically all I have used, butjust because that is what all of my contacts and I have used since we started. I will switch to Googles's messenger when they get it up and running.

I use the ones that I do because that's what all my kids and grandkids use. :D

Also, most of the moderators are on AIM.

That 2 person icon is for 'networking' in offices, etc. I got rid of mine by clicking on a blank space in the task bar and properties and then customizing the task bar to not show the networking icon.

AWANA tonight and our neighbor is bringing her children! I'm SO happy to hear this. They've not been in church for a long time because they are members of a large AME church about 50 miles from here and there are none around here.

I'm sleepy this afternoon. My legs, etc. aren't really 'weak' feeling today but still not quite perfect. Hope all of YOU are MUCH better!

:( Brent has a headache and his stomach hurts. He hasn't had a stomach ache since he's lived here so I'm praying he is not getting the flu!

I will be without a computer again from suppertime tonight until sometime around noon tomorrow.

I know it saddens some of you that I won't be posting for awhile. [IMG]

But never fear. I'll be back!

Hey! I'm not gone for another couple of hours! [IMG]

How did I know the unnamed poster from Ireland would jump on the bandwagon first?

Why don't you just announce that in The Moderator's Forum so all the troublemakers will get their licks in?

Boy we had a slew of Cubbies tonight even tho some of our regulars were missing. Thank the Lord for the ladies who are so dedicated to teaching the little ones!

My neighbor brought her 5th grader and 2nd grader and ended up staying. She made SO many friends and got to meet so many of our members. I keep telling y'all how loving our church is but I'm not sure you can imagine a church of 1,200 plus that is just filled with love. Can you tell I love our church?

Sue, hope Brent isn't getting that horrible stomach virus. Headache was one of the major complaints I heard from those at church who had it!

Gib, Roger! BEHAVE!!! Don't tell Blackbird Sue's away or he'll quadruple post!

We had 5 for choir tonight and one prospect. We have been down since Christams. They'll come for Sunday, but not for rehearsal.

That's awful Gib! I had 10 Cubbie workers. Want me to come down and yell at 'em for you? LOLOL Yep, like I'd ever yell!

My offline time changed. The PC man forgot he had a dentist appointment in the morning, so he won't be picking it up until after that.

I will get to bug you until around 10:00a.m. prolly and then not again until tomorrow evening.

So, hold off on your fun a little while longer. [IMG]

    Pleasant dreams all!

It was raining with a little sleet tonight, so our attendance was way down for Bible Study and prayer meeting. We had about 16 when we normally have 30-40. What does irk me at times is people who come after Bible study for choir practice. I can see having to do this once in awhile, but we have a few people who do it every week.

Well, I have to sicky chickies, so the girls and I stayed home from church tonight. Then I ran across to the church after dh got home for choir practice. There were very few there tonight too. Bad weather and a virus isnt a good combination for church attendance.
Oh, it irks me, too, when folks just come for choir. Occasionally, I dont mind, but there is woman woman who is very anti-my husband, and she wont come for prayer meeting.

Not just choir practice. We have folks that will come for committee meetings that follow a service and not show up for the service. Then they show up in sweatpants, shorts, t-shirts, flip-flops, ect.

(Yeah, right, Roger! [IMG] )

    Good morning all:

I slept pretty well again last night. PTL! Brent is still sleeping. He took some aspirin before he went to bed because he still had a headache. I told him to wake me up if he got sick and he didn't, so hope he's all right when he wakes up.

I sure wish it would warm up. 32º here this morning and not going to get much warmer today. This flip/flop weather is not helping any of the viruses!

If Brent feels OK, he wants to do two-days goals today so we can have tomorrow off. We haven't done that for a long time with me being sick so much.

He loves to peruse the second-hand shops and we have five of them, so we can make a day of it and eat lunch out together. The fresh air will feel good to me after not being outside for 9 days!

Cruising ('til I lose my puter this morning),

Cheryl said she had enough and left me this morning about 5am. Who's gonna iron? Who's gonna cook? Who's keep the house up? Well, I'll tell you who. Grandma's gonna iron. Pop, Papa Johns is gonna cook and the house will keep itself until someone gets home from Disney World.
