    Sue is gone? Let's move all the furniture around, unscrew the sugar lids and eat all the donuts. We'll blame it on Padre and Blackbird. They're always up to no good.

    Brrr! Good Morning from Philly, where the wind chill is 7 degrees! Sun is shining, though, so that helps.

    Here the good news about tea? Two or more cups a day helps prevent ovarian cancer, according to a news story about a medical study. I think I'll have another cup!

    Now what shall I choose to go with it? Hmmmm....

    sorry I was late gettin'here. Tried to go to work this mornin but the ribs won't take it yet. I was gonna bring some Peach cobbler for yuns' but BH dove in head first, she likes Agee's cookin' better than me it seems.
    at least someone took time to put all the furniture back where it belongs!!

    Ok, now that THAT is out of my system...
    GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!

    It's very pretty outside. While taking the girls to school we looked over and saw this one mountain that had a veil of mist over it, heavy at the bottom, light at the top. There was heavy cloud behind it, but the sun was breaking through and lit the cloud with a gold fire. The effect of the whole picture was just astounding.
    It makes me sad to see telephone wires and poles and such in front of such wonderful views, a reminder of what we destroy in the name of progress.

    I was reading about India the other day and how they're considered one of the poorest in the world because they have "too much regard" for nature and are very reluctant to destroy the habitat in order to progress.
    I wonder if they're really poor, or just living naturally, and WE can't tell the difference?

    Gina, in our neighborhood, all the wires are underground, a problem when digging and planting, and We have no beautiful mountains to view.

    You are very fortunate to have the beautiful view even with the power lines.

    Gina, you must be related to my husband's family.

    I can't have a serious conversation with any of them without the "play on words". [​IMG]

    We had beautiful sunshine this morning, but it is gone, gone, gone and it is getting colder here without that sun.

    Good afternoon all,

    I'm baaaaaaaaack! Thanks, Gina, for letting everyone know that I was still alive...

    I am using a rental computer so I don't have any of your email addys on this one. :(

    I hope to have my computer back in a week. They are taking the hard-drive out and putting it in another computer long enough to 'repair Windows', and get rid of the download I did yesterday, then they will put it back in mine. $75.00 is the 'starting' price for repairs. :rolleyes:

    So, if anyone wants to hear from me this week, ya better send me an email so I can have yours on this puter!

    It's warmer here this afternoon, but rain is coming in soon.

    I can smell the roast I have in the crock pot, and I'm ready to eat! But, Vivian won't be home for another two hours. I may just have to eat without her! ;)

    Well, it ain't my fault! I turned the little switch on & everything. It musta got unplugged by whoever moved all the tables & chairs around. I'd check all the sugar containers too!!
    Welcome back Sue!! Now I'm no expert by a long shot....but I don't se why someone would have to take the HD out of your tower & put it in another to work on it. I work on mine all the time right where it sets....thats why my wife says it's allways runnin' so good! Course I have become Pro-ficient at reinstalling operating systems! ;)
    Thankful....you ought to see me & Geener when we're WOUND UP!!! :D

    Oh Yeah....and Geener... PLEASE ...it really does hurt to laugh rite now!!
