Well, at 5 this morning I was out blowing snow.over a foot fell last night and it is still snowing...Taking a coffee break and then back at it..thankfully it is not too cold and little wind. Quarter mile of lane to clear and then hope the snow ploughs come through before 9.

    Cheers,

    Jim

    Good morning all!

We had so much frost that it looked like snow, does that count? I really didn't think it was all that cold out there myself, but the cars were covered in ice and since it poured rain yesterday, the deck was too. I told the kids they could ice skate on it. They said it was too cold. Party poopers! [IMG] [IMG]

It appears like it is going to be a beautiful day here. It was so nice yesterday pm that I didn't get cold while shutting down the pool and draining the pump. Hadn't even planned on that but something is wrong with it, so down it goes till I decide to deal with it.(Maybe in the spring).

Last night was Bitsy's gymnastics recital. Man was she ever excited! It was sooo nice and all the girls were just thrilled with thier partcipation medals and trophies. Bits had somehow made it home without the hair dodad that matched her leotard when they handed them out last week. I made her a replacement that matched almost exactly but she worried about that thing all week. I finally told her to deal with it and hush!. She had to wear it last night or go without, so she wore it and to her surprise no one even noticed that the background fabric was a shade darker and the sequins were a bit larger than the original! Mom's not so dumb after all.  [IMG]

Ya'll have a good day. I've got to get up and get trails made through the house so the exterminator can spray today.

It's raining and everything is coated in ice. It'll make for a good base for the snowmobile trails but we'll need quite a bit of snow now to ride on. We were supposed to get lake effect today thru Saturday but something changed and now we'll get an inch or two.

Actually, Sue, Gib did all those things. I would never eat all the donuts cause I don't like the ones with cinnamon sugar. They make me sneeze. I couldn't move the furniture 'cause Blackbird wasn't around to help and...and....THE SQUIRREL DID IT! Yeah, that's it BH got into the sugar. That's why his beady little eyes got so BIG!

Reminds me of the time my job was eliminated in the morning and they rehired me later that afternoon in another position.

I think I need to apologize for BH's behaviour, I was cleaning out her cage & what did I find??
Part of a doughnut sprinkled with nuts, so mabey she ain't as completly innocent as she said. I guess thats why she was tryin' to be so helpful. But I can vouch for her about the furniture & sugar jars....I mean if you can't take the word of a Preacher....

She's my darlin sweet lovable almost innocent.....squirrel! She likes to visit the Pit Stop mostly, (till now anyways)'
I raised her from a pink, hariless baby, was gonna turn her loose when she got big enough but she got hurt somehow so we had to keep her.(Quick version) I call her BH cause I don't use her full name here on the board.(might offend some)
Antway she's been a true blessing to me & my wife for the last year & a half & ever since I came back on board the board she's rite with me...usually on my shoulder!!

    Evening all:

I am installing a security guard here tonight. His initials are BH and he can have all the black walnuts he wants if he can maintain order!

I am heading for bed. I've mostly been on the couch all day with this Bronchitis and I think I have a cold sore or something on the inside my mouth. I haven't been able to eat all day.

Dale got a new vaporizer after work, so I'm hoping that helps me breathe a little easier tonight.

Still praying for you, Tony, that your spinal injections today went as planned.

    Pleasant dreams all!

SHE said thats fine with her,but I can't guarantee how late she'll stay up. It's past her usual bedtime now but she's still worked up over todays events. But i believe she'll do it for it's a good nut...er..I mean a good cause!!
Hope they're still in the shell...helps keep her teeth worn down.

    You and your nutty squirrel!

Our day is done, and the bed is looking heavenly to me! We went on something I explained to the girls like this:

"If anyone asks why we were gone for eight hours, it's called a road trip".

Child: "what's a road trip Mommy?"

"It's an alternative word for what just happened."

Child: Why can't we just say you got us really really lost and our *bunny tails* (is that a better way to say it preacher?) fell asleep?"

"Because honey, mommy doesn't need the world to know she's a moron."

Child: so we have to LIE?

"Did we drive in the car?"

    Children all scream: "YEEESSSS!"

    "Were we on a road?"

Children yell out: "Lots of roads!"

    "Was it a trip?"

Children think and hesitantly say: "hey, yeah, I guess it was!"

"Exactly. Now take a nap until we're back home."

You know I'm in a losing battle here at the house...my wife is female (thank goodness) my dog is female, & BH is a female. I never win an argument anymore...outnumbered 3 to 1!!

Hrm, good point! Honestly, it cracked me up when she said it, but maybe it would offend some people! I'll see if I have time to edit it.

At least I didn't go and NAME a member of my family that, PREACHER!

You know, I should be nicer to you. I might actually meet you and your beloved one day, and I'd like to come out of it intact.
