I hope all you menfolk intend on cleaning up the mess you've made in here. And who ate all the chocolate?! BH must be hibernating tonight to have let ya'll get away with this. ;)

Preacher I'll take that wagon if you'll make so I can attach both my huskies at once. They need the exercise! It might even be safe for Standing Firm to drive!

    Evening folks,

I'm on my way to bed. It has been a busy, busy, day. We got most of what we set out to do finished before the rain started.

I still have a few things to find a place to store, but the majority has been put away for another year.

    Pleasant dreams all!

Not to worry! I'll clean up the mess & put everything away. Course now I could just blame it on a couple of other guys that claim they can't see too good! [IMG]
BH don't come on duty for another hour, so don't go blaming my baby.
As for the chocolate....don't know what happened there, mabey I can dig up something to bring in, say...Pineapple upside down cake? Well that may not last long either...I like that too much. Ahh, I'll just ask my sweet, adorable, loving wife to stir up something.
OOPS!! Thought I was thru till I seen the fudge!! You're a good man Charlie Brown!!

Uh oh...that had walnuts in it didn't it. Please put it in the cooler where BH can't get to it. I have to carry her over in a bit to let her start her official snoozin'...I mean cruising, round the shop. She's never had chocolate, but she'd find the walnuts for sure!

    preacher,

I will stragically place the walnuts in predetermined areas so BH will be sure to make the rounds

Would not want her to lose her job.

O.K & thanks...she does need a little incentive now & then! I'll lay an almond out in front of the rocker when I leave tonite to get her started.
I was going to get the mop out of our laundry area earlier & there was a peanut "buried" in it!
I bet I found a dozen in different places in my puter' room yesterday when I was rearranging it!!
If MK wants a wagon think I'll make a sled instead since it's Huskies.

Pineapple upside down cake with macadamias sounds really wonderful right now!

It's been raining again all day. My migraine from yesterday stayed away, although I would have loved to have gone walking to help lift the "fog" it leaves behind, but it was raining too hard! Anna is having a fit over not having fed the ducks, but I let her know they don't starve if she doesn't! I took her and her sisters to the corner store and let them pick out a little treat for dessert and she seems happy with that. She will be sleeping in her "house" tonight, no way around it this time. LOL I'm hoping she'll be disenchanted with the experience and not want to make it nightly.

They start back to school on Tuesday, and I start back the following Monday. I'm gonna miss having them around, but when I go back it'll take my mind off their being at school all day.

oh, preacher, i noticed ants were coming in through a crack by that window on the far wall. I took the liberty of drawing a white chalk line around the entry point.

Most people do not know that ants, for some reason or another will not cross a white chalk line. I learned that back in 98.

They are probably going crazy crawling around in circles over there, so ya might want to spray them and caulk that crack.

Want bumpy?...ride in my old Ranger sometime!!
Well I got the rocker out of the back & laid the cotton on the seat. Hope she don't get used to the special treatment cause I start back to work Tuesday & won't be up as late. At least I haven't seen any teeth marks on it....yet!

No sleds! There is no snow in Alabama! And I ain't moving to where there is snow, the dogs will have to pull something on wheels. I'll take the padded seats though, my arthritis will appreciated the shock absorbers.

Oh and thanks for the fudge! I definately needed the chocolate!

What you men doing in here anyway? Don't ya'll know you missed the peach bowl? LSU thumped Miami 40 to 3!(well that was when I last looked, there were still a few minutes left so it might have been worse)

There were a whole bunch of other games today as well. How can ya'll live in the south and not be watching football? (Jim is excused, since he's Canadian)

Also, was digging around back of the shed trying to get a little peat and noticed some silverfish under the corner of the building.

Walked down to the local grocery and asked for an empty box. Will make the side of it a home for those pesky critters.

Another neat thing I learned from living in a house over 80 years old. Silverfish and Earwigs cannot walk backwards. I took the liberty of taping one edge of that cardboard and laid it under the building. I daresay you'll not have to worry about them any more. They love dark places, so when they crawl in those little corrugated holes, they will get stuck because of not being able to walk backwards.

Oh well, back to planting this Azalea bush.

MK, I have an excuse too. Never was allowed to participate in sports as a youth because of my eyes, so never gained an interest in 'em. And now that the eyes are almost totally gone, I cant see the tv without getting head in the way of wife when she wants to watch.

Oh well, bet I am the only person who got A's in PE for walking to the store for the coach to buy his Big Red Chewing Tobacco. lol. never forget those days.
