WELCOME ONE AND ALL TO THE

The only "RULE" here is NO fussin' - NO fightin' - NO feudin'!

I will try to be here to serve you; but if not, feel free to help yourself.

First one in every morning puts the coffee and tea on, last one out at night turns the lights off...

We serve donuts, cinnamon toast (dry toast available upon request), crumpets, bagels, scones, croissants, brioche rolls, donuts, yogurt, salads, light lunches, popsicles, ice cream, homemade cookies, homemade cakes, homemade pies, and homemade jams.

We also serve coffee (with/without caffeine), hot chocolate, hot tea, iced tea, fresh squeezed lemonade and orange juice, cappuccino, Mountain Dew, DP, DDP, Coke, Pepsi, Diet Sierra Mist, milk, milk shakes, Kool-Aid, and Carb Options.

If you don't see your drink or food of choice...just ask, we will do our best to stock it for you!

Our aim is to please...come and sit a spell, enjoy the fellowship and come back often!

As Christians, we are ALL on common ground...

    Evening all,

We are in the middle of watching "Fried Green Tomatoes" until it's time for MONK. Then it's bedtime.

Have a chocolate and pleasant dreams all!

RE: Blaming Canadians from the last episode of CGCH

Dear Jim1999, You talked about the bad weather and you talked about acid rain. How come you said nothing about my mother-in-law? I believe Brantford would be much improved if they would take her back.

I can't believe it...BH gave me a bloody nose a while ago. I was teasing her in her cage & hiding down below it & easing up & she would ease up on the inside. Well, the booger got smart & was waitin' on me & as I came up she reached out with a itty bitty left paw & hooked me on the end of my nose. Agee was real concerned about it too..."don't drip blood on my carpet!" was her reaction.
I just let her out & she's feeling spunky, just watch your noses!! I put the lid back on the chocolates too. Well...mabey spunky wasn't the right word, there she goes waddling over to her rocker!

My daughter felt your pain, only hers was from crying. She didn't know it and was standing here crying and dripping blood all over the floor, but it's tile so it was ok. That was about an hour and a half ago.

I know better than to get carpet with this one around...well, I got one, but it's blood red. [IMG]

Hope your nose feels better! At least she didn't slap you...you'd have a little squirrel handprint on your face. LOL

That pool party problem could be solved by having it at Dairy Queen. :D

I'm up doing more writing and a mid-term. I SO can't wait until Tuesday! Tuesday at 2:20 pm to be exact, and this nightmare will be over, my last test will be turned in. I shall celebrate by...well, I don't know. I'll probably just take a nap or something. [IMG]

    Good morning all,

I woke up to a 'blanket' of snow everywhere and it is still coming down! It is 28º with an expected high of 32º.

I'm glad Brent and I bought groceries yesterday - I won't have to go outside today.

I'm putting the coffee on and making biscuits and gravy. Help yourself.

    HAGD!

    Mornin Gang!
I selpt the longest I've done in months, but feel preety good for a change. Agee got called into work, & jerry's still snoozin so it's just me & BH. She ain't gonna be happy if Agee gets her way. She bought an orrice chair at the thrift store yesterday & wants to put it in here. If so BH's wingback will have to go, & she loves this chair! I'm trying to talk Agee into putting the other puter in her sewing room next week since all of jerry's stuff will be gone. She has twice the space in there thats in my little room here. Mabey BH can lay her sad pitiful look on her...that works most of the time!! For her anyway.
They called for snow here, but only rain. So far anyway.Doesn't feel that cold out but I haven't checked the weather channel yet.
I warmed up the gravy & biscuts, it was good!
Thanks...Oh & BH says your biscuts are almost as good as Agees!!

Meanwhile, on the wild fire front: Yesterday's fire was 2 miles east and
½ mile south of our house. About 500 acres were burnt, A church
day-care center was totally evacuated .
The fire was kept from crossing the
road in the direction the fire was going. A rest
home (on ½ mile in the direction of
fire travel was in the process
    of being evacuated when the
fire was stopped. The wind was blowing so much you couldn't see the
smoke at our house. A nearby 4-lane highway
    was closed
by the smoke hugging the ground. Sister Wife
Thankful says she smelled the smoke.

LOL Gina! Our Dairy Queen is mostly a drivethru restarant, I doubt they have more than four booths inside it! I probably couldn't get just the family to fit, much less 18 or so kids! [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

Sue, you must have gotten all the snow that was supposed to fall here! We didn't get a flake. They've been saying it's going to be very cold tomorrow, but right now we are almost back to spring with temps in the 50's and bright warm sunshine.

Ed, that's just plain scary! I'm glad they were able to put it out.

Well what little of a break I've gotten today is over until after 6 tonight. See ya later!

Bundle up is right!! It's gone from 43 to about 35 or so in the last couple hours. Still raining though. BH is on the back of her chair going through a walnut like there's no tomorrow!! Correction...she was going through a walnut..it's gone! Now she's telling me, another one..c'mon...hurry up!!
She's slept most of the afternoon & woke up hungry I guess.I just gave her a horse chestnut, guess she's full...burying it in the blanket.
I just hope the weather ain't bad tomorrow when jerry leaves. Has to ride a bus from here to somewhere in Alabama, & Agee will worry enough as it is. Me?...I hope for the best...but I'm countin' the hours.
Be back after while, gotts go find a stray squirrel!

Down to 35 degrees? We call that summer. We wait for it to go up to 35 so we don't have to wear coats. Our weather is imported from Canada, eh?

Not that I've been doing much in the old Coffee House, I am shutting down the system here and heading "off" with the bride.(I'm more "off" than usual). Will not have much if any access to computers, or such.

Sun 12th preach, then fly to Houston
Mon 13th shuttle to Galveston, embark on Celebrity "Galaxy" at noon
    Tue 14th at sea
    Wed 15th at Cozumel, Mexico
Thu 16th at Costa Maya, Belize
    Fri 17th at sea
Sat 18th at Limon, Costa Rica
    Sun 19th transit Panama Canal
    Mon 20th at sea
    Tue 21st Montego Bay, Jamaica
Wed 22nd George Town, Grand Cayman
    Thu 23rd at sea
    Fri 24th at sea
Sat 25th disembark Galveston and fly home for church on the 26th!!

Why go cruising (again)? It was -3F this morning in Casper. High today in Cristobal, Panama was 87F.

Blessing on you all. I plan to be back by the 27th or so, unless it snows in Denver. Couple years back we returned from Miami (another cruise) and ran into the "storm of the century" at DIA. Spent the night at the airport with 5000 of my closest friends. Tough way to end a relaxing vacation!!

Pray this will be better! And covet your prayers, too.
