LOL! Brent was quite the fashion statement wasn't he?

And look at that precious baby! They are just to sweet when they are so little.....until 2 AM! You've got the best Sue. Spoil 'em and pass 'em back! :D

My kids(except Jenna who made a miraculous recovery) are singing the I don't feel good chorus every time I walk through whatever room they are occupying. :( It doesn't help that it is beautiful and HOT outside and I have the swimming pool ready to swim in. (this for kids who don't mind ice cold water!) It is in the 80's today and was yesterday.

T is entertaining kids with King Kong and I'm off to clip hedges in a minute. I'd pull the nasty things out and replace them with azaleas but they've been there so long that the stumps are as big as a small tree. Still, I'm cutting them back to the brown. If they die then I have an excuse to replace them!

    Morning all:

Vivian and I didn't go to church yesterday morning. She really needed the sleep, and I let her sleep until after 10am. With the time change and all, she really needed it. We spent part of yesterday afternoon going through the stuff that we brought back here after her mother's death. 90% of it went into the garbage, except for a few pictures and a few other small items. It was sort of distressing to her to learn some of the things she learned about her mother yesterday, and she didn't sleep well last evening. We also had tornado's here, so, that didn't help. I finally got to sleep around 1am, and the alarm went off at 2am. I'm heading back to bed in a minute or so.

It was raining hard here when we got up this morning...lots of lightening, a swollen creek, and several times the lights flickered. Night before last we went four hours without power. Finally came back on about 11:50 PM.

Hope all is well with ya'll. Miss being able to post, but with all that's going on healthwise, it's nearly impossible.

Be good, Be kind, Be careful!

    Bro. T

    Good morning all,

I received a GREAT picture of Tony and Viv this morning. I would post it, but I don't have his permission. I think he should submit it to Bro. Andrew so we can all 'see' who we're talking to...

It is rainy, windy and stormy here today. We had a tornado warning last night that knocked our cable out, but we kept our power. We have several large limbs down in our yard, but we're all safe.

One person was killed in Taylorville (about 35 miles from here) when the church roof collapsed during last night's services.

It looks like the CGCH will be relocating to a bigger location sometime today.

    More spring cleaning at home...

    Time for coffee,

Boomed and rained here to last night. Blew up kinda sudden. I woke up when I heard the first bit of thunder, but it wasn't raining so I hoped it was going around us. No such luck. Ten minutes later the storm's on top of us. Like to have scared my poor dogs to death. Had to get up and put them into the garage. Poor dogs still aren't ready to come out!

More doctor visits and school stuff today. Ya'll pray for me and my temper today. (and my nerves) I have a very important meeting with the school today over issues that really ruffle my feathers. My temper won't help matters, though. I need to stay calm and keep my thoughts together and stick with the issues at hand. I really must not allow myself to get sidetracked into the emotions of it all.

Sue, I heard about all the storms that went through up that way and wondered about ya'll. I think parts of Tennessee got hit hard as well.

Off to prepare for the day!

Boomed and rained here too. I kept laying in bed thinking I should get up and unplug the computers, but I was too pooped. [IMG]

Still raining this A.M. although the sun did come out for about 2 minutes!

Thunder and rain here, too. Not much wind, tho, praise the Lord. Hope everyone is OK, with all the tornadoes and bad weather.

We found a place for our Rehearsal Dinner. It will be at the Sidney Lanier Cottage, the house where the poet Sidney Lanier was born. Tried to do a link, but can't get it to work. I am really happy to have the place chosen and reserved. Big load off!

Have a good day, all! [IMG]

Sue, you have my permission to publish it here, or even to submit it to Bro. Andrew. Right now, I just don't seem to have the time to do much of those kinds of things.

The barn behind us in the next field sustained some heavy damage yesterday, and two houses down there was significan straight lined wind damage. I haven't been out to check ours. It's really windy here right now with winds of up to 50 mph, sustained for long periods of time. Hope it stops soon.
