    Good morning everyone!

Least I think it's going to be a good morning.....T's truck is "stumbling on pick up". Fancy words for it's got a miss! Just had to happen now, right when he also needs 2 root canals. Not sure just how this is going to work out. I'm gonna let the Lord work it out though, cause right now I've got enough to do without worrying about money.

Speaking of enough to do, I never got my spring cleaning done this spring. Since it is technically still spring, I'm trying to get it done. Problem is, I seem to be making as big a mess as I'm trying to clean! You cannot walk through this house.

    Coffee first!

Yay Sue! Breathing is really important you know!

It's been pouring rain, and I'll have to look up if it will continue all day. We're presenting a play, and we're SUPPOSED to stage it at the bowl, which is an outdoors thing.
At least the stage is covered. HA!
I just got back from the Sheriff's office, where I was supposed to pick up a uniform for the Sheriff in the play. If I'd gone down there when the Sheriff TOLD me to, I'd have gotten it. Instead, I waited until this morning, and today the uniform custodian is gone so I couldn't get it, since he has the keys.
The police were nice enough to give me a junior sheriff deputy badge though. LOL! They'll have to deal with it, I did the majority of work on this, I can fail on this part. It's not like the guy doing it couldn't have taken the initiative to get it himself. Then again I have the habit of taking charge of any group I'm in, so I guess that means I should take the blame when things go wrong too. Especially when it pretty much IS my fault.
    *sigh*

Ok, where's that squirrel? He owes me a whole grain donut.

    BH say's "what donut???"
Maybe I've finally got this puter' runnin decent. BH gave her seal of approval by tryin to chew the wheel off my mouse.
I've been lookin. in, from time to time while debuggin...the computer that is.
Agee's at work, I'm afraid she went on in with a bad headache. She's had it a couple of days now. Not a migraine, but it's got to be mighty close.
Hope all the one's doing poorly will get a brighter better day. Just remember...it ain't gonna always be like this. We have a day coming when there's no more sickness...no more pain,....all tears shall be wiped away. I'ts gonna be grand, or to put it in more proper terms...GLORIOUS!!
May all have a Blessed evening...remember...the evening is actually the ending & beginning of a day!!

Okay, my turn for a donut!

I've worked my way through my entire kitchen. It is clean almost from top to bottom (I decided to clean all the ceiling fans in the house at one time, mostly because I was too hot to turn it off long enough to clean it. :D )

Gonna cook supper (out on the grill, I'm not messing up my clean kitchen!) and then head for the hall closet where I keep my fabric stash. Stuff is falling out and the door won't stay closed!

Here's a good one: I let Chris go spend the night with the friend who spent last night here. Cass comes in a few minutes later and says, "I'm hungry and you didn't cook lunch". What? I'm cleaning and haven't really asked the kids to anything, but they can't/didn't fix their own lunch? "Oh no," I'm told, "you should have fixed lunch for us cause we had company." Uh, NO! The agreement was that the kids would fend for themselves while I cleaned and this particular extra kid is here so often he's family, not company.

So I call the other mother. She had already discovered that not only had they not eaten lunch, the boys hadn't even bothered to pour themselves a bowl of cereal for breakfast. They hadn't eaten all day! My son and I are going to have a nice little chat when he gets home tommorrow!

    Evening all!

PTL! I can hardly begin to tell you how much better I feel tonight! I even took a short stroll through Wal-Mart today and went to a small thrift shop (looking for clothes for Brent to take to church camp - he's not taking any 'good' clothes!)...

Cough is gone, no wheezing... I'm still using the Nebulizer 3x a day and I have 2 days of Prednisone left, but I feel GOOD!!!

I took my portable oxygen tank in the car today. I'm still not completely comfortable without it nearby. Actually, that is what the Dr. wants me to do until after next week.

I feel so good I think I'll go stretch out in bed!

    Pleasant dreams all!

Preacher, I'm glad you have that computer straightened out! If it still gives you problems, just give it a slap on the side until it gets right.

Sue, keep getting better girl!

MK, our kids were operating on the same brain-wave today. Mine called me at school to tell me they were hungry. LOL Except I came home and made them lunch. I felt guilty because I've been gone a lot this week while they're home. Two more days and it's over for a while though. WHOO HOO!

The play was interesting. It did rain, and we ended up having to do it facing backwards. I'd explain, but I don't wanna talk about it now. SO THERE!

Embarassing moment o' the day? Today in the bank...I put a piece of hard candy in my mouth. The girls and I all had one. There were eight people behind us. So when the girls were joking and the one said something to me, I forgot the candy was in my mouth and stuck my tongue out at her and the candy started slipping out of my mouth so I tried to catch it with my lips and tongue and couldn't and it fell out and onto the floor. I got a number of grins and waves on my way out. UGH! As soon as I got out the door I doubled over laughing. I think I give up on trying to keep a proper appearance in public anymore. I've simply lost it and it ain't coming back!

It's called insanity, Gina, and we inherit it from our kids! :D

I'm glad to know I'm not the only one with dependent independent kids. LOL! I have to say though, I've given up guilt. It's not worth the energy. Life is what it is, and they have to learn to fix their own lunch sometime. I'm not going to live forever! (well I am, but not on earth and somehow, fixing lunch and heaven just don't seem to go together well)

Well I'm tired now. Fabric closet did not get sorted. Too bad, there's always tomorrow and if there's not then I won't have to worry about it anyway! (right?)

    Off to bed with me!

    Good evening!

I worked most of the day on webpage art. Yikes! It's amazing how something so small can eat up so much time!

    Good morning all,

The Prednisone would not let me get to sleep until 4:00 this morning and I got back up at 6:00, but those two hours of sleep were great!!! I will have to catch a short snooze sometime today...

I am trying to get things together that Brent needs to take to church camp Sunday. We bought some small bottles of personal hygeine products yesterday. I think he is pretty much set except for a couple of towels and wash cloths. He's NOT taking my 'good' ones!

If it's not too hot today, we may take a run by the Salvation Army store and see if we can find some shorts and t-shirts for him to take. I hate to send nice things to camp, because I usually get someone else's back...

    Time for coffee (decaf),
    §ue

    P.S.
I can't even have DECAF coffee for 24 hours before one of my heart tests. What's up with that??? I thought caffeine was the 'only' culprit in coffee... [IMG]

Sue I think the decaf has small amounts of caffeine in it -- pity. Just the taste -- caffeine or not is enough to get the day going. But the caffeine sure does help.

I'm going to the eye doctor today to see if I can have refractive surgery. Keeping my fingers crossed. The closer I get to 50 . . . well you know.

Let me see, I was 47 when I fell apart - collapsed arches in my feet and varifocal glasses in the same year :).

I keep trying to find the right position for a light at my desk -- with my glasses on or off -- with my chair higher or lower.

Doesn't matter, I still see more spots than screen. :tongue3:

    Good Morning Everyone!

Another day of spring cleaning ahead.

Sue, it's good you are feeling better! Keep it up and don't wear yourself out getting Brent ready for camp. We don't want a relaspe!

MC, you are very brave to have surgery on your eyes. The very thought of it turns my stomach. I'll just stick to my glasses. Or not, considering my right eye has improved over the last couple of years to the point where I can usually get by without my glasses. I use my left eye to see up close and the right to see far off. Built in bifocals!

    Off to the fabric closet!

Bitsy: A freind of mine had refractive surgery and ended up with 20/20 vision and said she would do it again, in a heartbeat, if need be.

I had my eyes examined yesterday and the cataract in my left eye is getting to the point where it is affecting my vision, but not enough to operate on yet.

When it gets to that point, I will certainly have it done.

I switch off between contacts and eyeglasses right now.

I'm back from the doctor. I'm having the surgery on 7/6. I have slight nearsightedness which won't be affected at all, but my astigmitism will be helped considerably. I may have to still wear reading glasses (the kind you get at the drug store), but I can get rid of the bifocals!

    Yeah!

Sue, I found this doctor through a friend that had cataract surgery. He says the same thing about that surgery. He'd have it done again in a heartbeat!

It is a lovely, sunny day here to-day. It great day to be alive and moving about. I will likely spend the day outdoors trimming trees, mowing the turf and putting about in the gardens.

Be glad and rejoice, my friends.

    Cheers,

    Jim

    Good morning all!

I got five hours of blissful, uninterrupted sleep last night and I almost feel like a new person!

Chest is clear, sinus is gone, strength is coming back and I'm done with the Prednisone!!!

I need to do laundry today and start getting Brent's clothes packed for church camp so I don't have anything to do at the last minute.

    HAGD!

Tired of the "itsy-bitsy" print are we?:tongue3:
You Go Girl!! Nothing like a "10" with 20/20 vision. See I can "do the math".
    When I say you're a "10" I'm not speaking metric either.
(PLEASE tell your hubby that I'm just kidding. I don't want "my number to be up") .

MC, I'm so jealous! One day I'll have that done. I've always hated having to wear glasses!

Well, I only have until tomorrow, then I'm on summer vacation! Yay! I have a major final tomorrow, so I'll have to study for that tonight. I still haven't read two of the chapters. YIKES!
But for the next few hours, I'm finishing my portfolio for another class.
And putting the final touches on a paper for another.
    Turning them in today.
Taking the final tomorrow, then going to the last class, and I'm OUTTA there!
I went this morning and finished my stuff with the office.
I can't believe it's almost done. This quarter has been very hard on a number of levels.

My plan? SLEEP! Then get this place in order. Pack up winter clothes, organize stuff again, feel like I actually live HERE instead of at the college. And I'm sure my kids will like me better, as I won't be so disgruntled on a daily basis.

And those strangers next door...I should really get to know them again.

I've given myself until 9:30...so I have 17 more minutes before I have to start typing up my work. Seventeen minute drumroll? Could happen!
