Communion at home?

    Yes, a Christian may. There is no biblical restriction for anyone who wants to commemorate the Lord Jesus through His Supper at their home.

    I don't think there is a problem doing it at home.

    I have to agree with the last 2 post.
    Just like it is alright to sing a hymn at home, or pray at home, and to read th Bible at home
    it is good to take the sacrament at home.

    Passover was eaten at home. The Lord's table was not a synagogue service but a home service. In Acts 2 we find that they were meeting in homes daily and celebrating the Lord's table.

    When someone speaks of "taking the sacrament" it leaves the question "who is giving the sacrament"?

    By speaking of a "home service" it is assumed that no priest is present at each home (beyond the priesthood of all believers)
