Computer remembers website passwords?

    Somehow, Internet Explorer or XP has remembered a screenname and password for a website, something I LOATHE [​IMG] How can I reverse this?

    It should give you the option of whether or not you want your computer to save passwords or not. I clean out my cookies everyday just to be sure.

    Tom,
    I agree with chipsgirl, I delete cookies and files every morning.
    Also I have the settings on 3MB, 4 MB is the max. recommened.

    Keeping your settings in that parameter will keep you from loading your hard drive with cookies which slows your computer.

    "Tools" > "Internet Options" > "Content" tab > "AutoComplete..." button

    Click "Clear Forms" and "Clear Passwords". You can also disable auto-complete by unchecking the boxes there.
