The Rupert Missionary Baptist Church and Mountain State Baptist Bible College will present a Bible Conference on the TRAIL OF BLOOD on Nov. 7 and 8.

We shall begin Friday afternoon, Nov. 7, at 4:00 PM when Elder Jim Rader will speak on The First 500 years of Our Lord's Church. After this we shall break for supper at 5:00 PM here at the church. At 7:00 PM Elder Dana Stalnaker will speak on Our Lord's Church from 600-1300 AD. This will be followed at 8:00 PM by Elder John Kohler speaking on The Church of Jesus Christ from 1400 to 1600 AD after which we shall dismiss for the evening.

On Saturday morning, Nov. 8, we shall convene again at 9:00 AM when Elder Joe Collins will speak on The Lord's Church in Reformation Years 1700-1900. This will be followed at 10:00 AM by Elder Jessie Powell speaking on Religion in the United States. Our final speaker will be Dr. Ken Johnson who will speak at 11:00 AM on What's Next for Our Lord's Church. We shall then have a light lunch in the church fellowship hall and be dismissed. We expect this to be a stirring time in the study of our Baptist Heritage and everyone is invited.

If you are interested in getting cassette copies of the messages delievered at Rupert Missionary Baptist Church "Trail of Blood" Bible Conference, please read the following e-mail.

I would like to say also, if I may, that some have previously indicated they would like to have tapes of the services, they will soon be ready for any who want them. There are 3 tapes with a different message on each side of the tape. Any who want them may have them all three tapes (six messages) for $5.00 +$2.00 for postage. Any one who would like to have them can mail their $7.00 to me at Moody Roberts, PO Box 1103, Rupert, WV 25984 USA or they can send it by PayPal to [email protected]. I think anyone can see we are not trying to make any money on these. Our desire is to get the word out. The $5.00 for the 3 tapes is very little more than the cost of the tapes and their production. The $2.00 for postage is about break even on postage and the padded envelope to mail them in. Whether one has told me before that they want them or some who have not done so, let them mail the money stating that they want the tapes on the Trail of Blood. We'll be glad to get them out to them.

    Fraternally,

    Moody Roberts

I just received my cassette tapes to this Bible Conference in the mail and they are excellent! There are three tapes with two messages on each tape. The men speaking at this conference are some of the most "unknown" scholars on Baptist history today. I would encourage all of you to order these tapes. Contact Brother Moody Roberts by regular mail (address is above) or by e-mail at [email protected]
