Confront Idols, Make Disciples

    I did not sense he was speaking of idols in the city but in the church and there are many although they can be summed up into one big group. That is man's teaching above God's teaching. Here are a few.

    Age of accountability
    sin nature
    we all sin daily
    no one can keep the commandments
    Christians backsliding in practicing sin

    All this stems from pride and arrogance causing the rejecting of the word of God for excuses. The church has made idols to cover their sin instead of individuals humbly confessing sin.
