Can anyone outline (or provide a good link) the theological beliefs of conrgegational methodists?

How do they differ from United Methodist? or Southern Baptist?

According to the 10th Edition of the Handbook of Denominations in the US by Frank Mead and Revised by Samuel Hill:

This church was founded in Georgia in 1852 by a group leaving the Methodist Episcopal Church in objection to features of episcopacy and itinerancy.

In Australia the Congregational Church and the Methodists along with 1/2 of the Presbyterian church merged to become the Uniting Church, this occured in 1977. This denomination is very Liberal and advocates Homosexual Ministers. They are resultingly closing down churches all over the city.

Well, once those apostate churches close, the Baptists and Independent Funamentalists will be able to buy the properties for a song. This is great news. Those stinky liberal ministers will be without jobs.
