I am conservative on issues like abortion and gay marriage.

I believe that affordable health care should be available to all, so I suppose that makes me a liberal.

Has anyone ever taken this test? It matches you to a political party, telling you what percentage of the party platform you agree with based on your answers to 20 simple questions. My top 2 results were Libertarian and Constitution Party.

Interesting test, patrioticamerican! I came up 80% Constitution, 76% Republican, 64% Libertarian, 40% Democratic ( ). I am conservative on most all issues, libertarian on economic issues (except immigration and drug legislation).

But there were some painful choices there. Some, I was very conflicted about.

I was actually 83% on both Libertarian and Constitution, with Republican and Reform somewhere around 40% and then Democratic, then Green.

From the right, what do you think of immigration and drug legislation, if you don't mind my asking?

I have no problem with legal immigration. I have a huge problem with amnesty for illegals.

As far as drugs, could you be more specific ? I think marijuana should be decriminalized. You should be able to grow it and use it yourself. But I think cocaine and opiates should stay banned. And I think pharmacutical products should be regulated.

I was in the same order as patrioticamerican.

    83% Constitution
    79% Libertarian
    54% Republcan
    50% Reform
    29% Democrat.

Looks like a lot of potential CONSTITUTION PARTY supporters here.

[IMG] There must be a lot of people who do support the CP ideas. [IMG] I guess there are just too many who don't...or choose to vote otherwise instead.

Some of the questions are impossible to answer truthfully because they have too much lumped together in one question.

For example - the first question.

Increase, Maintain or Decrease, regulation of radio, TV, press, and internet content.

Most Christians are in favor of maintaining or increasing decency standards for TV and Internet Content. Radio - not as important to our constituency as the other two. And How does the press fit in this question? Surely no thinking person/Christian wants to increase regulation of the press.

    See what I mean?

We can go through as many of the questions as you like but I'll bet you the quiz is slanted in favor of 3rd Party Positions instead of Traditional Republican and Democratic positions.

Must be something wrong with the survey.

My top 3 parties are either defunct or a joke.

    </font>[/QUOTE]Hardsheller,

I agree with you that the wording of the questions makes it a bit difficult to answer a few of them. I had the same thoughts about the first one.

But I don't see where it causes a slant to third parties.

    OK, PAJim,

What is the CP position on Internet Porn?

Is it the same as their position on regulating the Press?

Usually the CP and the Libertarian are against all government regulation.

This question would therefore be slanted toward the prevailing 3rd party position of no regulation.
