Thanks. That is the article I posted in this forum a few days ago.

Unfortunately, several state affiliates have disaffiliated themselves from the national Constitution Party organization. I don't know what all of the problems are but it's appears to be a pretty dysfunctional party at the moment.

A great source for minor party news is:

But is it true? Did you see the speechs and the reactions?

Giuliani is a reasonably good speaker and his views, I thought, were fairly well known. What was it in his speech that turned the crowd against him?

In the broad spectrum, he is a moderate, but for a Republican, he is liberal.

Ken, I promise to read more about your Ron Paul.

Other than Reagan, we've always chosen the LOTE.

This scooter Libby debacle may energize the Christian right like nothing else could have.

Why? Libby's lawyers can probably keep the appeals process going through the end of 2008 and then President Bush can pardon him as he is leaving the White House.

This case is too tied up in the poor intelligence that has resulted in the Iraq debacle. Anyone associated with this administration, such as Libby, will have a hard time being a sympathetic public figure.

They might have to, Petra-O IX. If Guiliani wins the GOP nomination then both of the major parties will be pro-abortion parties.

Every GOP presidential candidate at lease claimed to be pro-life in my lifetime, their current front runner is the first candidate that everyone knows is pro-abortion, yet he still has the majority of the support of the GOP and it's current leadership. This means that the conservative Christian voters will either for the first time, knowingly rally behind a pro-abortion candidate to be our next president, they will simply stay home and not vote in 2008, or they will vote for a minor party candidate.
