    GO AGGIES - WHOOP!

Be ready for the Aggie NOISE!

Did you know that A&M does not have female cheerleaders? They have guys dressed up in janitor uniforms that lead the Yells (you can go to midnight yell practice on New years eve if you happen to be in Dallas) To get a yell started, the yell leaders give a sign that is passed from the front row, all the way to the top of the stands, then the yell commences.

Aggies dont boo a bad call, but if you hear a bunch of hissing, you can be sure the zebras made a bad call!

You will also get a chance to sing along to the Aggie War Hymn, link arms and sway as you saw bosseys horns off!

Attending an Aggie game in College Station is one of those sports experiences that you need to try at least once!

My daughter will be sitting on the TN side, all decked out in her maroon, with luck it will be a nice day, and the Aggies will "Beat the Heck out of UT!"

Yes I am. Yes I think we can. But we'd better play some consistent defense. A & M will be more prepared for our run game. Rick Clausen will be poised and very ready.

    Rocky Top, you'll always be.......

Hey you off color orange folks - look out for Reggie McNeal - he is amazing with his arm and feet. His TD to interception ratio was outstanding this year, and he is fast and can move!

for you uninitiated, the first verse of the War Hmn is usually omitted, but I thought I would bring it to you in all its glory so that you will know what is being sung every time the Aggies score!

The Aggie War Hymn was written by J.V. "Pinky" Wilson, former student, while standing guard on the Rhine with the AEF, after World War I.

    Hullabaloo, Caneck! Caneck!
    Hullabaloo, Caneck! Caneck!

    First Verse

All hail to dear old Texas A&M,
    Rally around Maroon and White,
Good luck to the dear old Texas Aggies,
They are the boys who show the fight.
That good old Aggie spirit thrills us.
And makes us yell and yell and yell; --
So let's fight for dear old Texas A&M,
We're goin' to beat you all to --
    Chig-gar-roo-gar-rem!
    Chig-gar-roo-gar-rem!
    Rough! Tough!
    Real stuff! Texas A&M!

    Second Verse

    Good-bye to Texas University.
So long to the Orange and White.
Good luck to the dear old Texas Aggies,
They are the boys who show
    the real old fight.
The eyes of Texas are upon you.
That is the song they sing so well,
    So, good-bye to Texas University,
We're goin' to beat you all to --
    Chig-gar-roo-gar-rem!
    Chig-gar-roo-gar-rem!
    Rough! Tough!
    Real stuff! Texas A&M!

Saw Varsity's Horns Off (normally follows War Hymn)

    Saw Varsity's Horns Off!
    Saw Varsity's Horns Off!
    Saw Varsity's Horns Off!
    Short!

    Varsity's Horns are Sawed Off!
    Varsity's Horns are Sawed Off!
    Varsity's Horns are Sawed Off!
    Short!

The Aggies got a whooping put on them. I turned it off early. Now the Iowa/LSU and the Texas/Michigan games were good watching.
