    Country Music's New Patriotism

Anyone silly enough to claim that patriotism can be whittled down to who wears an American flag pin and who doesn't, or who supports the war and who doesn't, had best pay attention to what's happening in country music.

Forget all those political polls, which partisans love attacking as too partisan, anyway. When it comes to judging the mood of the American people, there's no better barometer than country music.

This is quite convoluted and a clear misrepresentation of the facts. She never proved her initial thought that any of the singers had changed their minds about the war. Infact it is one of the weakest attempts I have seen at war propaganda.

Actually, the article is quite clear and well written. You just don't like the content, Timmy, so you make your usual snide remarks.

There was nothing snide in my remarks just facts. She did not prove that Worley changed his mind nor kieth nor Haggard nor McGraw. In fact what sdhe did prove was that they maintained their positions from the begining. And to assert that a lack of a flag pin on McGraws shirt was significant of anything she was saying is a silly as the article.

Hey, Timmy, from your time in this forum I have learned that you wouldn't know a fact if it bit you on your nose.

Wow, if that's not the pot calling the kettle black.
