They have a lot of nerve talking about criticism of the President given his constant bashing of everyone who does not agree with him. What a hypocrite.

“The other thing that people have observed is that Republicans have spent an awful lot of time criticizing the President. Now that may have worked for them politically, I think the numbers indicate that it might have, at least in the short term. But is that really good for the country?”

They were okay with criticizing George Bush...

    The difference...

Obama is thin skinned and can't take it. It angers him.

To Bush, it was just another day at the office. He shrugged it off.

The Dems do have a point - since they NEVER criticized Bush (either one at that)

Did the Republicans in Congress "get it" when the only thing they announced as a goal was to block everything the Democrats proposed? Of course they didn't do this entirely. Mitch promised the voters of KY who had received a tremendous benefit for getting insurance under ObamaCare that he would somehow pull out ObamaCare "root and branch" but somehow continue to provide its benefits to his constituents in KY. Certainly that's a bold-faced lie but here in Wonderland anything goes.

I hope the new Republican majority can actually come up with some ideas to help the country rather than just continue political partisanship.

Political partisanship deadlocks government. That is a good thing.

Liberals believe that if government is not expanding and more laws are being added to the books then government is not working. It is an errant view and needs to be eradicated from our government.

Yeah, I remember democrats doing the same thing to Bush.

But, Evidently they "got it" just fine and the electorate agreed with them.
