    A tragic and heartbreaking story.

This is heart wrenching :(. I cannot imagine the agony the family is going though, especially the big brother :tear:

Let us be in prayer for the Chapman family.

That is so sad. I've loved much of SCC's music over the years and have been to a few of his concerts. I'm guessing this is the daughter that they adopted from China. So sad. This will hurt for a long, long time.

They had better get the young man counselling, or else he could be in danger of suicide after something like that. Horrible tragedy.

May the God of all comfort and mercy meet their needs. I can't even begin to imagine how they must feel, especially the older brother.

Wow! I just read that article - and I realize that DH used to play in a band with his pastor.

My heart just breaks for the family. I also have a teen driver and a 5 year old. To think of this happening here......I can't even begin to imagine losing a little one like that and then the feelings of the older brother. So sad.

So sad. He was the singer at the Christmas Candlelight show at Epcot a few years back -- he was awesome. I had the opportunity to meet him -- as we were staying at the same hotel. And he had his beautiful Chinese daughters with him too.

I go back years ago to the Paducah, KY school shootings...and other tragedies as well. SCC came and played and ministered to those kids and families.

It's our turn to step up and minister to him and his family.

It's particularly sad when a child dies, unlike with an old person you can't say they experienced a lot of life. I hope and expect that she is with God now.

I hope they can come to terms with it over time.
