    Has anyone heard David Ring preach? He's coming to a nearby church, and I'll probably go to hear him.

    Jon, is he the Evangelist who has cerebral palsy? I never met him, but I understand that he has a tremenduous way of delivering his messages. You may click on the link below and see if we are talking about the same man?

    Many, many years ago, David Ring came to one of the churches in our local area.

    My pastor handed out several of Ring's tapes.

    I thought he was a powerful preacher and he encouraged me quite a bit. In fact, anytime I try to give God some excuse as to why I can't do something He's called me to do, I often think of David Ring. If he can travel and preach the way he does despite having cerebral palsy to the degree that he does, I really don't have an excuse.

    Unfortunately, I haven't even heard his name mentioned in ten years. I'd like to hear him again.

    Jon, I've seen David Ring on a videotape. Yes, DO go hear him! His speech is just a teensy bit difficult to understand at first, but you'll be amazed at how quickly that you don't even notice it! His message is VERY enouraging.

    He was at Moody's Founders Week back in 1996 or 1997 and I had the opportunity to hear him preach. He is a very powerful speaker. Yes, his speech is a little hard to understand at first, but the message just seems to overcome that. Definately go to hear him preach/teach, you'll be blessed.

    When I was in High School and early college years, I heard him speak (early 80's). I gained from having heard him speak.

    Went on a Bible Cruse, that he was one of the preachers and he was great.
