John, give me one good reason why I should debate with you when you "will answer no questions?

Doesn't make much sense to me.

Basically what I see from you is: YOu are a chicken if you won't debate me...but I am not going to answer your questions if I don't want to.

    Forget it!
Learn some common courtesy and I will consider having a conversation with you.

The problem here Johm is that you show absolutely no repect for anyone who disagress with you or offers an opposing viewpoint. You have called most of us names and questioned our educational levels. You have been angry and "left this place forever" 4-5 times now. People give good advice and you attack in response because it is not the advice you want.

Can you really not understand why no one want to debate you? I can't think of a single instance where you have responded kindly to someone who has disagreed with you, and you expect someone to debate you?

Debate must be based on mutual respect, and you have no respect for the members of the Baptist Board.

This is the best summary on dealing with your issue that I have read John.

I kind of liked this advice.

Except I'd add selling his puter and giving up his internet connection, move to the inner city where the rent is cheaper and buses run 24x7 which would allow him the sell the cheap heap. However, no matter what advice he get's, he is content with looking for sympathy and not a way out of his situation.

Also, why would anyone want to debate debt from a biblical perspective when it is not a Bible doctrine? Then to have Christians debate in front of those seeking to critisize and scrunitinize our beliefs, would be the equilivant of providing a robber the gun and combination to the safe. No good could come from that situation.

Good heavens he was looking for a job (any job every week).

This seems to be typical of your "debate" tactics John, in the last few post here you have called folks "idiots" and "cowards," have said they are "full of it," and you still expect people to respect you and enter into a debate with you?

Final advice since you are leaving this borad forever (again).

Get a job, any job, or two or three more jobs
Stop making excuses for your debt and stop borrowing
Sell anything you don't need and start paying off your debt
Move to a cheaper location where there are jobs
Quit looking for sympathy for a situation you created

Forget about trying to find a Bible excuse for your debt. Having debt at the level you do is at best unwise, Bible or not.

No one here is going to send you a cheque to cover your debts - you incurred them, you can pay them off. God did not give you any debt, you made it so you need to fix it.

There you go - you will hate my advice, call me a fool, an idiot, and probably question my salvation and education.

I love you John. I love my children who are your age, but sometimes love has to take a chance and be tough.

I have prayed for your daily the last week or so and will continue to do so.

Its realistic in our society. maybe not in Alabamba but it is in our socierty

I don't live in Alabamba (or even Alabama) John, but you know that ;).

Will keep you on my prayer list - you can know deep down in these dark days that someone loves you and is praying for you.

How has anyone turned into a coward? We just don't see a reason to go to another forum to debate you, especially since you seem to not respect anyone here.

Uhm... You didn't win by your great debating skills. You won, if you call it that by default because the other guy had internet connection problems and couldn't meet the deadline.

If you want to win "any way possible" then I suppose it's a win, but even on that board, in the peanut gallery, they mentioned you would chalk this one up as a win.

    Seems they were right.

Just a note if you're still here(and I assume you are), I'd be willing to debate you, so long as you realize that I only take a semi-scriptural approach to the issue of debt and credit. I base my stance on it largely from an economical approach, etc. Not necessarily a totally Biblical approach. If you're willing to do it with that understanding, I'm game.

In this sentence, "you're" is the proper word. Educated people know the difference between you're and your.
