Calvinists distort and misreprent the Bible, and hide this truth under an avalanche of slander.

From the beginning refers to events occurring in the beginning and after or since the beginning.

Strike one: The phrase "from the beginning" is not in the underlying Hebrew text. Thus Calvinists seek to support fiction with fiction. By the way, the KJV translators did not, repeat did not translate "and to the ages" as "from the beginning" they mistranslated the Hebrew word that means head or top or the aggregate whole, i.e. sum or total, and turned a word referring to the sum total of God's laws into the beginning. Unless you are willing to study God's word, you are vulnerable to the misinformation of unstudied folks.

Strike Two: The KJV translates a different Hebrew word as "from the beginning"

The KJV does indeed translate the Hebrew word "ro'sh" H7218 about 8 times as "from the beginning." And a few times more as "in the beginning." And this translation decision is also found in the NASB in seven verses (Proverbs 8:23, Ecc. 3:11, Isaiah 40:21, 41:4, 41:26 and 48:16.)

In all these cases (seven) the first in a sequence, i.e. the head of the line, is in view.

One of the verses does equate "from the beginning" with "from the foundation of the world" but not with, repeat not with, before the foundation of the world. Two different time zones, one after or since creation, and the other before creation. Calvinisms continue to try to redefine the meaning of words to fit their agenda, and then they charge me with being a block head. Go figure.

The same way we all respond whether we be regenerated or not. Sometimes we obey and sometimes we sin. Point remains that Adam and Cain were perfectly capable of hearing the LORD and obeying the LORD.........by un-regenerated choice.

You have said in the past that regeneration and faith happen at the same moment.

The Philippian jailer sought the true God before he believed, so he was not regenerated according to your own view.

How do you explain that the Philippian jailer came to the true God before he was regenerated?

Romans makes it very clear that God has left the witness of himself in both nature and our consciounces, so that men can know that there must be a God, but will NOT be able to come to Hm in a saving fashion apart from special/divine revelation by God!i
