What level of education does everyone on this board have?

This can be in any field (not just theology).

    I selected "doctorate degree."

I am a D.Min. candidate at Gordon-Conwell. I am just finishing up my dissertation and will graduate May of 2007.

Sorry about the confusion. I wasn't very accurate in my above post. I'm half finished with the dissertation.

I finish writing my dissertation throughout 2006 and defend it in early 2007.

You just raised my anxiety, Paul, ha, ha. I thought I would have MY DMin finished by 2007. I take my last classes in October, 2005 and my proposal is due by May 2006.

    What track are you studying?

My last class is in January 2006. My mentor, however, has been working with my class from the beginning to define our proposals and think through our dissertations.

I'm studying at Ashland Seminary. My track is Formational Counseling, a model of Christian Counseling that includes pastoral counseling, spiritual direction and inner healing prayer. Good luck! GCTS is a great school!

    Hey all,

In the above educational credential's list I left out:

Journeyman Steamfitter/Welder; consisting of an 8000 hr., 4 year, US Dept. of Labor Apprenticeship Certificate program.

It is equal to having a college degree for the purposes of making a living. Most Union Scales ($ per hour) around the country pay between $25-35 when there is work.

I hardly "work at the trade" any more b/c I teach college full time and have for 8 years. But I still have my union card. I can go to work at any time based on my own choice and availability of the work. I have found that I am "too old and broke down" to do a young man's work any more.

    FYI!
