Hey that puts it to page 5. Stop the insanity and close it.

While I agree with you 1)There can be no absolute certainty other than a faith choice, 2) There is no need to question another's love of the Word of God because they have made a different faith choice based on alternative evidence and 3) do you object as much to the word "God" being added to the KJV where it is not present in the original language text, such as "God forbid" or "would to God"?

    --------------------------------------------------

Don't need to, as I don't doubt it, and know that God has provided it.

The scriptures declare GOD WAS MANIFEST IN THE FLESH. God's name is there, meant there, and has been preserved to be there. It is not "He", and many can continue to say He is referring to God all they want, until they turn blue in the face. However, the scriptures declare GOD was manifest in the flesh. Not HE was manifest in the flesh.

love in Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour,
    michelle

You're trying to apply Elizabethan English to todays venacular. It doesn't work.

C4K, lock this thread before it goes to page six. Obviously michelle does not understand how pronouns work, and us repeating ourselves is not going to make any difference.

Some verses which affirm the deity of Christ with absolute certainty in the NIV, which the KJV has watered down:

    John 1:18, Rom 9:5, Titus 2:13, 2 Pet 1:1.

A five year old can see it. Yet Michelle would have us believe these don't count, just because she herself doesn't understand simple grammar.
