With the onslaught of Obamacare we as Americans have lost more freedom. The reason so many people are losing their current helath care policies is because they do not include enough coverage for things they do not need coverage for. This of course is contrary to what the President and all the Dems promised.

So now we have lost the freedom to choose to purchase insurance or not. We have lost the freedom to choose which coverages we want to pay for. And all of this loss of freedom is because simply that we are living.

The Democrat party is the party of anti-Freedom

They are socialists, plain and simple. No matter how great a length they go to in order to deny it.

It's a mantle they wear regardless of whether they want it, or not.

The Republican party is anti-Democracy. They complain about the "tyranny of the masses." They no longer believe in a government by the people but rather one by the rich and powerful and special interest groups. They refuse to accept federal law (Sheriff in Arizona) and call for secession from the Union. In short, they actually hate America because they're not getting everything they want.

Let's see. Which party represented the majority of U.S. voters in trying to delay, defund or gut the ACA? Hint: It wasn't the Democrats.

Which party consistently passed bills to fund the government and end the shut down, while the other party steadfastly refused to vote on them? Hint: It wasn't the Democrats.

Which party consistently proposed negotiations that would lead to compromise legislation to end the impasse that caused the shutdown in the first place? Hint: It wasn't the Democrats.

(I don't care for Kobe, but his reaction fits that nonsense sentence perfectly.)

Sorry, gotta go back to Kobe on this one.

Cite one Republican that has ever used this phrase, please. Someone besides that conservative uncle you don't like.

    Laughable. Kobe thinks so too.

Depends on how you define freedon. The liberals are now saying that all Americians have the freedom to purchase insurance.

Likewise the Feds refuse to accept State/Commonwelath law - per the 10th admendment.
Which Republicans are calling for secession? I think if you start with five names.....

In short, they actually hate America because they're not getting everything they want.[/QUOTE]
Likewise the liberals are saying the same thing.

And that would be a misuse of the term.

I can't help but think how much better off we'd have all been if republicans hadn't consented to the neocon take over of the GOP. The liberals and democrats might still be misguided and gullible they might even still be in power they might even still be big government authoritarians with a big chip on their shoulder but they wouldn't have had a ready made unitary executive to build their little dictatorship on.

Republicans defended every neocon power grab and expansion of government that Obama is now capitalizing on. The neocons sure didn't let any crisis go to waste and republicans fell for it every time. So, what did the republicans expect would come out of Bush's power grabs and government expansion?

The way I see it Obama and the authoritarian liberal democrats are blowback from republican power grabs the attack on our rights (patriot acts) and the increase in the size and scope of government. From warrant-less NSA snooping to TSA groping and naked body scanners to the 80 billion dollar per month banker bailout bonanzas.

Which party represents we the people? Neither. Which is the party of peace? Neither. Which is the party of responsibility? Neither. Which party honors their oath to defend the constitution? Neither. Which party protects our liberties? Neither. Which party is worth a plug nickel?

Well said, Poncho. The fact that we're even having this comparison is crazy.

    Mr

Republicans would rather fund endless wars of aggression than providing health care to the needy.

Which party supports secession from the union, a 150 year-old bad idea? Which party would rather destroy the U.S. if they can't get their way? Which party talks about the tyranny of the masses, a bedrock principle of a democracy?

More like a 230 year old idea. It's called the tenth amendment and states rights and it's still in effect. Lee only surrendered his sword to Grant not the bill of rights.

States have the right of nullification. No matter how loud you whine about it. You don't like the way our republic works move somewhere that actually has a democracy.

And good luck finding one. That ain't very popular because it's a terrible form of government. Democracies are short lived and always die violent deaths.
