Oh man, this is a toughie!

Hmmm.... the embryo already exists. So it was a matter of the couple finding the embryo that matched what they were looking for. Almost like a bolde-haired blue-eyed couple wanting to adopt only a blonde-haired blue-eyed girl, for example.

Well, I don;t much care for it myself. But I don't see it as being immoral in any way.

I'm reminded of a similar situation here in my area several years ago. A couple had a teen daughter whohad cancer. The couldn't find a marrow donor. So the couple decided to concieve, inhopes that their next child would be a suitable marrow match. It turned out she was. That was about ten years ago, and the whole family is doing fine. When last I heard, I believe the older daughter's cancer was in remission.

I think the fact that the children are already conceived and this is possible is disgusting, and YES this is wrong.
However, if it were my child I would do the same thing.
Go figure that one out, I sure can't!

Ok...I know this is gross...but why not save the afterbirth of a child and use that for certain things. I know they have done this before.
