Before The Throne of Heaven, no doubt America's now rampant homosexual sins are the last straw that caused GOD to remove His Divine blessing and protection from the USA.

This allowed the evil terrorists to succeed on 9-11 in attacking our nation.

Divine judgement and punishment are yet to come!

Our Lord JESUS CHRIST is the ONLY hope to save our nation, which can only happen if the individual hearts of our people repent and turn to The Saviour!

    Robert,
I had to vote no for the part that accused the homosexuals for 911. The statement is simply too strong and limited. Sin is a reproach to any nation, not simply one type of sin. While homosexulaity is a serious sin and one that needs to be dealt with it is not what brought down the towers.
I believe that the church is responsible for what we are seeing, not the lost. The church today, does not for the most part, teach and lead in righteousness. There is almosat as much sin in the church as in the world. Adultery, liars, theifs, homosexuals, and so on. Divorce in the church has surpassed the world. While I admit that those who practice such things are not Christians they still remain active within the church and the church turns a blind eye for the most part. God calls for His people to repent and if that would happen then perhaps we would live in peace.

    Dear Folks:

Yes, I recognize that America has many sins before Heaven:

I cringe every time I hear "GOD bless America" or see that now empty slogan on our money or on a bumper sticker!

    abortion,

    contraception,

    husbandless mothers,

    fatherless children,

    atheism,

    evolutionism,

    socialism,

    love of money,

    worship of earthly treasures,

    murder,

    violence,

    debauchery,

    substance abuse,

    sodomy.

    illegitimate children,

    divorce,

    crime

And this makes us different from what other nation?

China is far worse for abortions and contraception.

Most the countries in Europe are doing quite well with all the rest!

Actually, if we were attacked for any religious reason, it was for exactly the opposite reason! In the eyes of much of the world, we are as close to representing Christianity as any nation. Sad, but true. This was precisely the reason Bush and many other political leaders backed down from a Christian stand and endeavored to embrace Islam and declare it a peaceful religion at heart!

Ask the Arabs who flew the planes the reason for their doing so. America's gay sins?

Osama: "America is very gay. We must declare Gay Jihad against America!"

This isn't a matter of a "poll". America can't sin, only individuals can commit sin. America can't be saved, only individuals can be saved. To say that 9-11 had anything to do with specific sins committed by individuals in this country is a mockery to Christians who live in the rest of the world and endure real persecution for their faith.

The biggest sin of the church in America, and particularly the evangelical, conservative, fundamentalist (or whatever other label you want to put on it) branch of it is the failure to reach its neighbors with the gospel. We've made it too hard for them to see the truth through this veil of self-righteous, unloving arrogance that we put forth.

Do you need a good example of this? Look at the hostility between brothers and sisters in Christ (at least they claim to be that) right here on this board in the posts related to which Bible translation is "best" or is "the preserved word of God in English." Baptists have never been good at treating others with the gentleness and respect the Bible requires of us when serving as witnesses to the eternal truth of God and looking for a reason to blame for 9-11 is more of the same kind of godless trashy tripe that drives people away from the truth.

Helen makes a good point. It's easy to forget this when we are in a state of rapid decline. But there is still a lot right about America, we had better get busy or we will lose it. Let's turn it around, brothers and sisters.

Quite an interesting list, there. How is it that you happened to single out one particular sin from the many in your list as the reason for 9-11? No doubt that's a worse sin that the greed or love of money that runs our country under its current administration.

I suppose you have a special, unique, direct prophetic line to God that none of the rest of us do.

Sin is sin, and it's no one sin that caused 9/11. But Americas collection of sins and acceptance of and promotion of sinful lifestlyes.

It doesn't even need to be that, Donna. Their PERCEPTION of us triggered the attack. Personally, I happen to think their perception of us included a lot of jealousy!

Why did God LET it happen? Why does He let any disaster, natural or manmade happen?

To remind us, among other things, "While it is still today...." All people have had their eyes directed towards matters of life and death recently, I think. All over the world. What they do with that attention redirect will mean the difference between heaven and hell for many.

In short, the Muslims attacked for their own reasons, but God allowed it for His own, different reasons.

    Dear Vaspers,

There can come good out of all this:

How much easier in this dark day to let the light of Jesus Christ shine before the world as we walk in that light with a cleansed and joyful heart.
