Did God ever forgive Adam and Eve

HP, you don't believe in the doctrine of eternal security, and the only thing that I can conclude from that is that you don't have a very good understanding of salvation. The gift of God is eternal life. Eternal means eternal, not temporary. If one could lose "eternal" life at any time then it wouldn't be eternal but temporary and God would be accused of being a liar.

 

HP: Let there be no mistake. God’s promise is indeed eternal in scope, but it is conditioned upon continued faithful obedience until the end. There is no promise made by God to any but those that are willing to remain obedient to the end.

There is no reason why any should fail the grace of God, for He has promised the strength we need to persevere, yet Scripture is abundantly clear, one can turn their back from obedience, make shipwreck of the faith, and be found outside of Christ at the judgment. “Heb 2:1 ¶ Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip.
Heb 3:12 Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.

 

This thread is not about eternal security. You may start anoither one on that subject. My question presupposes that a person does beleive in etrenal security.

 

Who taught their children to sacrifice?
