    I think that, but then again I don't deny the full humanity of Jesus such as is on display in this thread.

    Careful here. The only humanity of which you have any experience is fallen humanity. Ensure you aren't projecting your corrupt affections into the person of Christ.

    Thank the Lord that God was humanized and the trinity brought down to man's level at Bethlehem. Otherwise we'd be pagan Gentiles.

    "Art thou the teacher of Israel, and understandest not these things?"

    Maybe not humor per se, but I believe it to be a gouge to make a point to Nicodemus that He most certainly already knew the answer to, and knew Nicodemus could not know it because it had never been revealed before.
