One of the complaints in the run-up to the Iraq War was that the media didn't ask enough tough questions. Did they do it again in the run-up to the election? The WaPo seems to think so: I hardly ever listen to Rush, but I had him on the other day during a commercial break from Rome, and he was playing clips of certain media members admitting they don't know much about Obama. It seems that this agrees with what many have said all along: Obama was not going to be elected because people understood and agreed with his policies and positions. In fact, we don't know much about them. He was elected because 1) people hate Bush, and 2) Obama is a good speaker.
