I had a choice of voting electronically or by paper ballot. I couldnt't bring myself to trust a machine. Either way I voted for losers even if they won.

Even the paper ballots have machines that count 'em.

Yes, my vote counted. This has been one election I have really enjoyed, unlike 2000 and 2004.

Now that people like the result, this talk of election snafus and irregularities will subside.

Intellectual and logical consistency, where art thou? :BangHead:

Yes my vote counted. I'll even admit to what I did. I don't like or trust either of the two major party candidates for Gov. in Illinois. So what did I do? I voted for the green party candidate. Not because I believe in his platform, because I don't (at least not a lot of it), but rather because it was a vote against the other two. My vote also allowed the green party to attain Established Party status in the state of Illinois.

As a non-established party the greens needed 25,000 signatures to get a candidate on the ballot for Gov. The republicans and democrats only needed 5000 signatures.

My vote helped to even the playing field in Illinois. I believe that had more of an impact than voting for someone I don't trust to do a good job.

    My vote counted. Always has.

It even counts when I'm on the losing side, just like yours did.

I for one, do not like the results. I don't like the will of the people being subverted when it is my candidate that wins nor do I like the will of the people being subverted when someone else's candidate wins. There is little that is more important than the voting process in a republic. If the voting process has been subverted then we no longer have a free constitutional republic or even a democracy for that matter.

Does anyone have comments on the video itself?

    That doesn't seem very fair.
