Goodness! Before I got married and became a Southern Baptist (which by the way, our church is on the move and very pro-active in winning the lost to Jesus here and on foreign soil), I didn't realize there were so many "flavors" of Baptist. Of course I was a dumb pentecostal--lol--not to be confused w/a Charismatic. lol

Will this keep me from being able to get the password to the Ladies Only Forum--being a "former" pentecostal? lol

    I love it here!

I've been a member of Southern Baptist, Missionary Baptist, and even United Methodist churches growing up (don't ask about the Methodism stint... it's a long story! All I can say is that it was the most Baptist Methodist church I've ever seen!)

My grandparents serve in a Missionary Baptist Church, and since I've been serving in music ministry, I've served Southern Baptist churches. Honestly, with my limited knowledge, I can't tell the difference between the two except for the handling of monies toward missions. Presently, without more information, I would be comfortable attending and worshipping in a Missionary Baptist Church. Just my two cents, and my humble opinion.
