Senators Reid and Turbin, sorry Durbin, apparently are concerned about the dignity of the Senate if Burris is admitted.

This from the Majority leader who, in the spring of 2007, declared the war in Iraq lost!

This from the Illinois senator who took the Senate floor to call American Soldiers in Iraq Jack-Booted Thugs. [For those youngsters Jack-Booted refers to WWII Nazi's]

And these two have the unmitigated gall to talk about the dignity of the Senate. It would be beyond belief if they were not democrats.

Democrats have no respect for the law.

Burris is the legally appointed Senator from Illinois. They should seat him unless they have proof of his own personal wrongdoings.

    And they don't.

I think, but am not sure, that even if they had evidence of wrong doing they would have to seat him and then let the ethics committee or the legal system take over.

Frankly I hope this drags on for a couple more weeks.
