    I thought you posted you would stay far from me. I guess you were just kidding.

    Yes, I believe Augustine interpreted scripture through the lens of Greek philosophy. Beyond that I believe Augustine fathered the dark ages because he provided a scriptural interpretation to support Church leaders using compulsion rather than persuasion.
