Wanted to "spit-ball" this to those of like, and other denominations....I am curious about the doctrinal ideas entailed in the notions of "Divine Simplicity"...Specifically...as they are explained by the likes of Aquinas and the other medi-eval (usually RC) Theologians of the past. Does anyone here have an understanding and adequate explanation of this? I am not RC by any means, but I do think that they have had a 2k year history of working on "Theology Proper" (so-to-speak) which has remained un-challenged and intact. I believe that "Divine Simplicity" is still an "official" doctrine of RC Theology...is it? Why? Any relevant opinions are welcome!!!!
