Not to pile on Amy Grant, but has anybody seen the Amy Grant/Vince Gill interview on Primetime where she says that God approved of her divorce and affair because He knew she wasn't happy?

    It was pretty bizzare.

I found an article on the ABC website.

    http://abcnews.go.com/sections/primetime/DailyNews/amygrant_vincegill_021003.html

Is this what you are talking about?

No, that's not it. That's an article [/i]about[/i] the interview but it was Primetime, not 20/20 like I said the first time.

I have respect for Amy Grant's music, but that's pretty much what my ex-wife told me, when she decided to leave me for someone else she was having an affair with. I think that phrase 'satan coming as an angel of light' comes to mind.

THere are many musicians through the years that have sung Christian music that may or may not have been Christians.

    However, Their music was beautiful.

It is indeed a shame when one we respect and is in public life lets us down by being sinful.

But the Lord can still use them and he probably still has plans for Amy Grant.
