Dixie chicks violate the first rule of country music...

    ... and this is the rule:

    "Don't publically badmouth impending U.S. military action."

    Country music fans include mommas and daddies of soldiers out there in Iraq. Anyone in the pop-Hollywod left can say whatever they want about Dubya and nobody's momma will notice or care. But country artists can't bad-mouth the commander-in-chief and expect anyone to want to listen to their music...

    On the noon news today, I can't remember where it was...there were a bunch of people at the town square throwing Dixie Chick CDs in a big trash dumpster.

    I don't think they'll get a big welcome home party!
