What is the difference, if any, of human believers not wanting Christ as Lord and a demon that "believes"?

    True belief is this:
A personal decision on your part to trust Christ.

James 2:19 says, the devils also believe, and tremble

    So what is the difference?

The demons believe He exists - they know, because they've in all likelihood seen Him. Their leader definitely has. But do they trust Him? No. They also know He is Lord, but is He the Lord of their lives? Definitely not, although He does exercise His sovereignty and power over them.

Making Jesus the Lord of your life means this:
That you eventually mature in Him and do His will as you put away childish things (while on this earth). But He will only truly be the Lord of Your life during the Millennium when you're in your ressurrected body and don't sin anymore.

A human believer is justified, a demon isn't. Christ shed His blood for humans, not demons.

If you see no difference between a justified human and a demon, you need to take a step back and rethink your theology.
