I smoke meats. I fry chicken and make milk gravy for biscuits.

When I (semi-) retired, I started cooking more than canned or frozen foods. Found that I enjoy it.

Fresh ingredients in simple dishes is the way to go.

I do a lot of soups and stews during the winter. The slow cooker is a great tool too.

Growing up my folks made sure all of us kids learned how to cook.

I love to grill and smoke meats on my new Kamado smoker. Does that count? I do like to make breakfast too.

We stay healthier if I don’t cook.

I make salsa (no cooking required) that gets lots of compliments.
