Would you be upset, FC, if your child came home from trick or treating with Muslim comic books in their bag?

I wouldn't be. I'd throw them away and tell my kids why they were wrong.

We've done some halloween outreach tracts before (with nice BIG candy bars on them)

The first year I was saved I used chick tracts with my candy but since then I use a testimony tract of the evangelist I work for.

No thanks, I don't advertise for liars and pharisees.

I wouldn't use anything from a wonton liar such as Jack Chick. I'd rather use something far more reputable such as the tracts from God's Word to the Nations.

I re-ordered some Chick tracts after posting on this subject somewhere else. I wrap a chick tract around candybars. I see nothing glaringly wrong with his tracts, and see how they could lead someone to Christ.

We don't get more than about 15-20 kids and some are grandkids. I like to leave the tracts in all sorts of places and imagine how God could use them.

I don't know Chick or anything about his personal life, but admire this part of his ministry.

The one that sticks out in my mind is the "Death Cookie" which wrongly accuses the RCC of collaborating with Satan in the use of a round communion wafer to trick people in to idol worship. On top of that to equate the Doctrine of Real Presence with Egyptian pagan practices is low.

Well Chemnitz, I ordered 2 of everything they have in English so I can review them.

At the risk of displaying my ignorance yet again, what is RCC. I searched 5 pages in Google and found not a clue.

thanks PamelaK, I should have known.

I find very little (nothing comes to mind) in the RCC to admire.
