I thought I have read that extremely few people dream in color. I used to think that I did, but as I make notes of 'noteworthy' dreams, I do notice that color is at least never a siginificant factor. So I doubt if I ever dream in color. I tend to believe many people think they dream in color simply because the absence of color is not a significant factor, and therefore they think they are "seeing" stimuli as they 'normally' see it, being unaware at the time that color even exists.

I am a male, I dream in vivid, living color, and in great detail, and it's usually about war. Apocalyptic type, and very realistic. I also regularly dream stories that have gone on for multiple dreaming sessions (sometimes multiple nights), complete with names of those involved, and detailed conversations. Very minute detail.

Oh, I've also learned that when I'm dreaming a nonsensical dream, I can figure it out in the dream that I'm dreaming, and I can control things in the dream in a Matrix type of way.

I dream in color, real life looking color, with all the details of real life. Sometimes it's like watching a movie, I see me and other people, and sometimes I see it through my eyes, I know who people are, the places, everything. All my life though I've dreamed of being chased by someone or something(unseen sometimes) And of course the routine mother's nightmares about her children, which I still occasionally have even though they are grown. I sometimes wake up from a dream go back to sleep and right back where I left off, this sometimes happens 4 or 5 times a night, and not always pleasant dreams.
Sometimes I have dreams fo something funny, like once I dreamed of Robin Williams, we were police detectives partners, and I woke up laughing and woke my husband up.
I almost always remember my dream when I wake up, and a mostly remember it for hours or days, some I never forget.

I remember from a psych class in college that dreaming in color is often an indicator of creativity. Thay may be a bunch of malarky, but who knows.

I don't know. I can't remember the color, I can tell you the detail. I dream epics. I should write them down.

    I dream in color.

I have never had a black and white dream. I think that only happens to the older folks who were made before techni-color was invented. I bet our kids dream in high definition.

Both. I know some are in color, because there was a dream once where the color of some flowers played a very important part in it....

I have dreamed in both color and black and white.

Sometimes the faces change into different people and sometimes the faces are blurred so I can't see them...

Exactly. I was going to say I had heard this too but you beat me to it. I will go on record as agreeing with you.

The sad thing is, I don't think I'm very creative even though I always dream in colour. I want to write a book but have writer's block. Perhaps if I record my dreams, I may have the jumpstart to a great story.
