Are circumstances our driver or are we molded from without or from within? Do we choose to become who we are---or are we forced into that becoming? Are we victims, or masters?

I am referring to our daily lives, well beyond our spiritual life.

Circumstances plays a part sometimes. We are molded from without and from within. I guess we are ever changing in some ways as we grow older, experience more things, face different circumstances.

According to John Calvin, you do not even choose what color shirt you will wear.

People who seriously believe in systematic theology IE Doctrines of Grace, get a bad rap for the doctrine of Predestination so here is its simplest explanation, that before the beginning of time, God chose a people and has made it so that they will all eventually be LIKE Jesus Christ and WITH Jesus Christ.

Ephesians 1:3-6 "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: Having predestined us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved."

Romans 8:29 "For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestine to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren."

So in a nut shell, Predestination is always about people not events.God did not predestine all things that transpire but He does predestine all whom He foreknew. Thats it!!!!
