This question is actually for those who believe in free will. Is it possible for a sovereign God to allow free will if he is the one who is supposed to have total control over everything, including decisions? Either he is in control of what we will decide (soveriegn) or he is not? Don't you agree?

Sure it's possible. The fall of man is one of the earliest examples I can think of where he allowed free will. God knew exactly what Adam and Eve would choose to do. However, He "could" have controlled their decisions.

Don't you think He who made us has no doubts which path we will choose? If you think He does then you must not think He is omniscient. I'm sure you've heard the question - "Has it ever occurred to you that nothing has ever occurred to God?"

Would you want to surround yourself only with those you forced to accept and love you or those who "chose" to love you? Just my thoughts.

God has sovereignly decided to allow some latitude in outcomes so that human beings can exercise free will within the context of their situation.

    No.

Apparently you are defining sovereign as micro-management. Certainly it does not talk much of a stretch of the imagination to realize that God can be sovereign over all times, seasons, and do His work without interrupting the decisions he allows us to make.

I believe in the SON of God. Jesus wants to be our friend more than he wants to be our king.
