    I like all sorts of music but I can not tollerate opera...i'd just as soon listen to a goat being forced through a cheese grater!

    I like every kind of Christian music there is...from barber shop quartet to Christian rap. Just as long as they are singing/rapping to the Lord.

    I like almost anything... and I go to these different events for different reasons. I love going to the symphony or operas (certain ones... got to hear all 9 Beethoven Symphonies in one year live at the Houston Symphony!, and hearing Samuel Ramey as Mephistopholes (sp?) was awesome!!!) Some Christian concerts are quite worshipful. ANyway... just a different viewpoint!

    The sound of a goat being forced through a cheese grater is called Hip-Hop. :cool:

    There was nothing like a summer evening's walk through the Kurpark in Bad Nauheim, Germany listening to the chamber orchestra. Second thought; the MozartFest in Austria was out of this world.

    I like just about any type of music. . . .

    As long as it has a good banjo and madolin instrumental.

    Funny you mentioned Creation. I used to work for Come Alive/Creation Metro Concerts, the "ministry" that put on the Creation Festival. It was fun for me because I got to hang out with my friends and, being a musician, myself, a couple of the artists weren't jerks.

    But the music, itself, was downright awful.

    We attend "gospel sings" -- if by that you mean singing conventions that consist of singers participating in singing, rather than listening to someone else sing. Our main interest is in Sacred Harp Singing, but once in awhile we attend Southern Gospel type singing conventions (we call the "little book" here in East Texas).
