A local pastor (not mine) made the remark that he doesn't 'like people'. It got me to thinking...

I can love a person as a brother or sister in Christ and not 'like them'; how they act, react to others or what they say. Is there a difference or am I fooling myself?

I don't think you are fooling yourself. There is a definite diference between liking somebody and loving somebody. For instance, there are times when I really don't like my wife for what ever reason, yet I still have deep feelings and care for her very much, so I can still say that I love her, i just happen to not like her at that moment. I imagine she could say the same for me. Let's face it I ain't no angel.
