Do you log off each time you exit Baptist Board? I usually do - but is there a rule about logging off? The couple of times that I have quickly jumped off line - and didn't log off - made it easier getting back on the board the next time.

    Just Wondering!!!

Dan, I don't log off cos I am off and on so much..I pop on for just a few minutes and then do something else on another computer.........I find it easier to leave myself logged on.

    Cheers,

    Jim

Now that I can remember my password I do! Its not that hard to log on and off.

Is that a rule? We must log off? How do you know if a person doesn't? Is it that little guy in our computer again?

    Sherrie ;)

I don't log off, because I enjoy having the board say hello to me when I come on each day. :D

I use to log off each time but don't anymore.

 [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] (Which little man?) :D

I stopped when my wife joined the board and I once came on under her id, after this I decided I didn't want to post under her id often so I remain logged on. We have Office XP so she has her own settings and I think she stays logged on as well; so I just log onto the computer under my id and have all my own settings.

    God Bless.

    I don't know.

I don't "re-log" on, but since I am still dial up, I am not connected.

    Whatever that means.

I dont usually log off. Had a problem a couple of times when my daughter was logged on as mage4chist. I didnt realise I was using her name. Dont think she is on much just now(is that cos I gave her a bad reputation?)

    yours, Jon.

I don't log off. I did once when looking at something someone mentioned about membership but only for a few minutes.

Sometimes I do and sometimes I don't. We can log on at work as long at the content is general. One day I didn't log off. I told a co-worker about the site and when she went to check it out she saw "Hello, Gib". She came out and asked who Gib was. I will log off for sure at work from now on.

I don't, no. I guess at work I do, but not by clicking to log out. I clear my cookies every day, which does it automatically.

I always log off because I generally use a computer here at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. To access the internet here we go through our network server. So if I don't log off and someone else gets on a computer (any computer) and visits the Baptistboard and makes a post it appears as if I made the post. We have had this happen a couple of times where I made a post (thinking I was logged in) and actually Fearnot (a friend of mine) had not logged out. Thus, my post appeared under his screen name. We want to avoid confusion ya know! :D

I never log out. I never even noticed the ">>Hello I Am Blessed 16 [log out]" before! I'm glad I didn't see it before I read this thread. I might have gotten paranoid and thought I'd done something wrong and they were telling me to log out 'cause they didn't want me here! [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]
