That he always has existed outside Time/Space, or that time/Space always was with him also, that he is part of them?

    1. Space: God is spirit, so I believe he has always existed outside of space, and can transcend space, ignoring it if he wishes, or interacting with it in any way he chooses.

    2. Time: I believe God is not bound by MEASURED time...nor bound to wait for things to happen, as he knows all things before they happen.

HOWEVER, if you think of time to not be measured time, but cause and effect, then It seems God's actions may have effects that would not come to be until God acted. Not sure how that works, but it's a thought.

Would you agree that God is ONLY eternal existent being, that he created time/space etc? That before the Creation JUST God existed , period?

I see this somewhat as say Imp in Superman, Q in Star trek, as God existing outside our version of reality, that he exists in 'God reality", and he can break in and interact any 'time' he choses!

There is no place God isn't that is if He is truly Omnipresent. However there is nothing I know of out side of space since space is out side.

Did not God create EVERYTHING else besides himself? that the Universe and all aspects such as time/space/matter etc were created, and did not exist until he decided to create them?

    1. Do you not see a problem with saying that time did not exist "before the creation"? If there was a before, then time existed as before and after.

    2. So you are asking, could God go back and interact differently with moses than he did the first time? I would say no, not based on ability, but based on God not doing things that contradict his nature, ie, making mistakes. If God knows all perfectly, he interacted with moses, Abraham, David, paul, and you and I in exactly the right way, and so has no need to go back and re-interact with time differently.

    3. I suppose the more philosophical question is this: Is God, from his perspective, listeing to the prayers of moses, Abraham, David, Jesus, Paul, and you and me all at the same time, or not, are David's prayer's now "done" from God's perspective? I lean toward the latter.

I agree. If not the latter then, in the same vein, is it really finished when Jesus says, "It is finished" or has it always been finished or has it never been finished?

    How do you know that?
The only way you could support that statement is to suggest that you know something about it that they don't.....

You have provided nothing to suggest that. If you are party to such knowledge, than it would possibly be constructive for you to add such wisdom to the conversation. If you cannot, than the only reasonable conclusion one could infer is that they are speaking above YOUR head.......

    That is quite possible.

Now that you've mentioned it actually scripture never names space as a created thing, because space is absolutely nothing. That's why it's called space.

MB, I respectfully don't agree. Space is a thing, a thing which is a result of the expanding singularity of the "big bang" creation event resulting from the spoken "fiat" of God. Of course one does not KNOW this, but rather hypothesizes from observation and equations. The wonderful thing is One Day we will indeed know and comprehend the how and the methods of God's creation of all matter. You might find it interesting to look into some of the cosmological theories of dark matter and dark energy, according to current theories and models, these May play an important physical part.

I must disagree MB... closer in depth reading of Genesis, and the creation account teaches that "heaven" (something God created) also means "space" or "Expanse". It is a legitmate rendering of Genesis 1:1 to see the "Cosmic Singularity" of:

    In the Beginning: (Time created)

    God created the heavens: (Space)

    and the Earth:
    (matter)

This rendering may be subject to some debate....but it is a perfectly respectable rendering of what God is saying to us in the very beginning of the book!

Bible states that Jesus created ALL things, and that he substains them, so ALL things wiould be everything BUT Godhead, for they alone are self existent and eternal!

I do not believe that God is bound by our concept of time and/or space.
