Usually all christians are for Israel and against the bad Palestines, but where exactly do we know that the government of Israel might not be controlled by wicked people which only want to achieve their own goals? How do we know if the Palestines down there are really treated fair? How do we know it? Have you ever been there and do you know what is going on there? What if Israel as we know it today is not what God wanted but what if Israel is the product of a zionist conspiracy? Imagine the leader of Israel isn't a good guy but a bad guy and he only does those things which will make Israel become even more hated. How do we know as christians what to pray for? What if we pray for Israel but not the right Israel? Supposing Israel really should have evil leaders then praying for them doesn't make much sense. In order to know what to pray for we also had to know who's really right and who's not right.

What do you think about this quote here?

And what does this mean? Is this true? Was Tut related to Moses and Abraham?

They are controlled by wicked people. Anyone not "in Christ" would be considered such, and the Jews rejected Christ.
It's obvious Israel (having rejected Christ) is not in the state God wants it to be. This is why there will be the tribulation period of seven years to get it to that state.
You don't need to know who is right or wrong to pray for someone. We should pray for Israel the same as we pray for the palestinians.

Israel is not always right, just as England, Canada and the USA is not always right. She is a legitimate country, and has the right to exist and to defend its borders and its peoples. Israel has worked very hard to make the desert bloom and be productive.

I do not place any religious significance to Israel, and I know that not all Christians are so supportive of Israel, carte blanche.

History has shown that the Arab nations are full bent to destroy Israel. The Islamic religion is very deceitful with its "peaceful" immigrants in the western world. Be not deceived. Receive the people as individuals, but beware the religion. Remember, the only good infidel (non-muslim) is a dead one.

We live in a complex world, and no solution is that straight forward, as many of us think it should be. Even at home, provoke a neighbour and find out how peaceful they are.

    Cheers,

    Jim

Israel might not always be right, but they are not controlled by people who want to destroy America. Most of the countries around them are either:
-controlled by those who wish USA's destruction simply because it exists; or
-the aforementioned people hold a significant sway in their government's policies and actions (i.e., Hezbollah has 23 seats in the Lebanese Parliament...there are many other examples).

quite the war going on eh? i heard on the news that WW3 could happen...

china, russia, the surrounding countries of Israel. all against USA, Europe(or is it england?) and Israel.

you know what Israel did wrong? they gave away land. which is why there is now a war against them.
confusing i know. scriptures say that no land is to be sold or given away and that no land will be taken away from Israel. because God gave it to them.
the Israeli gov. went against that and God is punishing them for it.

but WW3 (if you could call it that... i'd call it battle of armageddon) wont happen until ALL nations are turned against Israel.

This could be a WW3, but it won't be Armegeddon. This could very well be the avenue the antichrist uses to bring upon his "peace treaty" that will be broken half way through. As a pre tribber, this gets my heart rate up! I believe the antichrist will be revealed AFTER the rapture of His church. Armegeddon will occur well after this.

Religiously - Israel is in open rebellion against God. We are not "blessed" for supporting it. Their intolerance of Christ is not as great as the Islamic violence directed at Christians and Jews.

But they are STILL a nation that has the right to "Exist". Politically they have become allies with us so we owe them support as we would owe any other ally.

    In Christ,

    Bob

For me, I'm going to support Israel because they are our only friend in that region. And the enemy of my friend is my enemy.

Armegedon is part of the wrath of God If I understand it. It is the sixth vial of God's wrath and the church will not be here.

Who in the world thinks Israel controls Israel. Look to the US if you want to know who controls Israel.

No, Israel is not always correct in its policies.

Israel is correct to prosecute the current war with Hezbollah and Hamas until both of those terrorist organizations either surrender or are wiped off the face of the earth.

The U.S. is Israel's best friend and I think we always will be.

The current nation of Israel is unrelated to any Biblical prophecy and will never be a part of a Biblical prophecy as a nation. Premillennialism is a false teaching.

But how do we know that the Israel which we have today is really the Israel which the bible refers to in prophecy? Is it possible that the bible means something completely different and that the foundation of Israel in 1948 was something which had nothing at all to do with God? I mean what if this was simply the decision of humans and they took some land and decided to call it Israel? I'm asking this because there are christians which think that the Israel of today has nothing to do with the Israel of the bible.
