    If any Democrats on the Senate Judiciary Committee had plans to subpoena Dr. James Dobson and force him to reveal what the White House told him about Supreme Court nominee Harriet Miers, he may have just taken the wind out of their sails.

    It isn't Dobson who is to be giving advice and consent. That is Congress' role.
